One of the fastest growing social startups is social growth hacking tool Crowdfire. Firebot is a powerful new feature to expand their already impressive app. It is included in Crowdfire 2.0, which is still currently in beta and you can opt in to the beta here.
Crowdfire 2.0’s Firebot is a chat messenger that walks you through a daily ‘prescription’ of tasks that you should perform to maximise your social growth. It uses all the same tools as Crowdfire version 1, but it’s packaged in an extremely simple easy to use fashion. Speaking from personal experience and a few days using Firebot, it has been a pleasure to use.
All of Crowdfire’s normal features remain – and are accessible via the three dots in the bottom left of the interface. Let’s dig a little deeper into the thing that makes Crowdfire 2.0 tick.
Firebot will send you a notification once a day, on either browser or mobile (yes, it works for both). The notification is asking you to complete your prescriptions.
You’ll be taken through wizard-style and Crowdfire will suggest tweets/posts for you to like. Accounts to unfollow based on their activity, or if they’ve recently unfollowed you. It will suggest accounts for you to follow that have been tweeting about your chosen keywords or topics. These aren’t just suggestions that Firebot has just pulled randomly. Crowdfire’s suggestions are intelligent; they take into account how active and engaging the accounts are. Accounts that are most likely to become loyal and engaged followers.
Crowdfire will also run you through general Social Media maintenance suggestions, like regularly changing your Profile picture, bio and website URLs. A feature I think is particularly useful as one of the prescriptions, is a suggestion for relevant content you might want to share in your niche. Crowdfire Firebot will suggest a number of articles or posts that you could share on your Twitter. These could be articles that are popular within your network, or from publications that are popular within your community. It’s a nice tough.
You’ll be taken through the whole process wizard style in a step by step walkthrough. It’s a very simple to use interface that presents you with one prescription, and when complete will give you a tick or a cross according to how you did.
Supercharge and Grow
This is all well and good, but how can it help my Twitter or Instagram grow? One of the slightly more hidden options within Crowdfire 2.0 is the ability to manually input your daily limits for how many posts you’d like to like and accounts to follow and unfollow per day. Crowdfire will set these automatically by default however their settings are a little conservative.
Bumping up these settings will expand the amount of prescriptions that Crowdfire sends you daily. They will increase the amount of unfollows it suggests you perform, increase the amount of follows and shares. It’s a win-win for everyone.
